Debuschere was one of the game's most versatile defenders of all time...he could defend quick players (once stopped the great Baylor in Knicks vs Lakers Finals game on 18 points), hustles, defends and rebounds well. He grabbed something like 11 boards for career.

He made 6-7 All-First Defensive Team...

So his role is more then obvious...
