Pau is better, but not that much.

Howard is a better rebounder and defender, but at the same time Gasol is fucking amazing at those things too. Gasol also passes like a PG. :O

Well whenn the season is this young and all MVP opinions have been formed over a such short time..yes it should change everyweek unless one is clearly more dominant.

comparing 2 players shouldn't go by the week... cuz one guy could be in a slump one week... doesn't mean the other guy is better. Or one guy could just be having an amazing couple of weeks... but the cools down.

No way. He's even missed the first month of the season already for them. Most Bulls fans (as far as I know) would have been much happier with even Bosh in the off-season. I have a feeling that isn't why they're voting other. If that were the case, you'd see more votes for Amare in New York, Love in Minnesota, and Kevin Garnett in Massachusetts, and even Paul Milsapp in Utah.

Another thing that's odd is the "Other" option has a higher percent in Illinois than even Texas. You'd think that if fans were not going to vote Gasol (or even Dwight), it'd be fans with more of an argument (because Dirk and Duncan are both better than Boozer). Something else is going on here.

Let me solve it for you so that your brain doesn't blow up from thinking about this too much. 428 people voted in Illinois. 21% voted other... meaning around 90 biased people in Illinois love Noah/Boozer or they might be a fan or someone like dirk/Duncan etc.
