| I'm so happy the season has started.
Not a baseball fan and I've watched only one football game all year.
But it been really good so far and there have been some good games for being so early in the season...
It also doesn't hurt that the Lakers are perfect so far... maybe not as a team, but in terms of their record.

| 3-2 with a favorable 5 game stretch!!!
I'm uber excited the Knicks could still score the dickens and turn up the scoreboard. However, what excites me is the new-found defensive tenacity of this team thus far. We are actually playing defense. Amar'e may be struggling with his shot, rebounding the ball, and is turning the ball over a lot. But he's still scoring and better yet he has given the Knicks a blocking mentality. The Knicks have ranked dead last or near to last in bpg over the years now we are first. And we have Stat, Turiaf, and Chandler to thank for it so far. Turiaf is a monster off the bench keeping plays alive and playing stellar d. Felton is scoring and dishing very efficiently and Douglas is scoring like a madman and both are playing great d and they are hitting their 3's. Chandler looks like a 6th Man of the year candidate right now.
What's also cool is we already have 2 road wins this season. I like this team we have a good unit of young up and coming players that are exciting to watch and looks like they like playing with one another.
Realistically we could be 5-0 right now cause we had the Blazers and Celts right were we wanted them. Up 9 against the Blazers with 3 minutes to go mental mistakes down the stretch cost us in a 5 point loss. And we led the Celts through 3 by 6 but they pulled through down the stretch more so than we did in a tough 4 point loss. We were right there with them. We need to keep fighting in these kind of games and limit the mental mistakes. We are a very young team. | |
