| is it that time to call him a bust? Compared to the top 5 picks, kevin love, derrick rose, russel westbrook,oj mayo Id say he's the worst. | |

| I wouldn't call him a bust. Too early to say, and his numbers have been decent so far in his young career. Even if he's 5th out of the top 5 picks, that doesn't make him a bust by default. | |

| Maybe too early. But even if you compare him to the top 10...he's 8..atleast. | |

| For the 2nd pick in the draft, averaging 14/6 isn't all too good...but in no way is he a bust. | |

| Wilson Chandler is better than Michael Beasley I have spoken!!!
I'm just happy that Walsh and management said no! no! no! in packaging Ill Will to Portland for Rudy Fernandez that would've sucked so hard...

| Nah. Not a bust.
The problem with Beasley is mental, not skill based.
He needs to grow up and take the game seriously. Plus he needs to adapt and convert his game to SF. He was a PF in college and obviously he can't play that position in the NBA. Too short and not a banger in the paint.
He has a ton of talent. He needs a real coach that'll help him become a better player.

| Needs a better support system like Nick said. A coach that will show him his potential and constantly encourage him; because of his mental health issues...he'll prolly require a little more strength-building for him to believe in himself...and therefore, enabling him to play to his potential. | |

| If he has another shitty year, then yes I would consider him a bust. Just imagine if the Heat had drafted Westbrook, Mayo, or Love... | |

| He's been playing VERY well lately... averaging like 30ppg over the last few games... Beasley is NOT a bust. And I like his hair style lol. | |

| He's averaging 22 and 5 so far, and is becoming the first option on offense. He was the 2nd pick in the draft, so maybe a leadership role is all he needed..him and Love will be a beast SF/PF combo if he doesn't get himself traded
Unfortuntely, the PG SG and C...suck. Ridnour is alright I guess. If they get a stronger bench and start Wes Johnson at SG, that could be great.

| He's the MIP in the NBA this season in my opinion
Mike just needed a system that actually wanted to build around him, and now he has that in Minnesota
