| That last thing Atlanta needs is to get softer inside. This would only benefit them if they were playing for the the future...which they're not...since Joe Johnson is making $126 million. New Orleans is looking to cut big salaries...adding Smith (while it does add talent) does not help them do that. They also end up with absolutely 0 bench. Still not likely a playoff team, especially with that inept inside scoring ability. Still undersized in the paint as well. | |

This would be dumb trade.
ATL gets a shootng guard they don't need. A small forward that they don't need and a PF who wouldn't be an upgrade over Smith.
Obviously this trade would only benefit the Hornets. | |
