I wasn't around for the Pistons team... but I know I would have hated them hahaha.

If I was old enough for the Knicks, I would have hated them too probably..

I hated the UNC team that beat Illinois.. but they woulnd tmake this list cuz of all the UNC fans.


As for Football... I agree with USC and the Patriots.. I would throw in the Vikings though from a few years ago..

It's a good list. I'm can't think of anyone else to add... personally I'm surprised the Lakers didn't make the list.

The Knicks in the 90's was just beautiful. Too bad if the Knicks get back to being a good team it would be as a offensive specialized team and not the defensive juggernauts they were in the 90's. Not a eam today and that's including the 4x champ Spurs played defense like the 90's Knicks did. We were championship worthy teams back then.

That's complete BS. You and I have absolutely different ideas of what a championship worthy team is. Championship worthy teams don't always win championships. The 96 Sonics were a championship worthy team I would take them over most championship teams in the 2000's. The Utah Jazz were a championship worthy team in 97 and in 98. Just because it doesn't happen doesn't mean that they weren't championship worthy teams. Again that is complete BS you are ignoring the luck factor in sports. To win a championship you need the talent of a championship worthy team (those teams had it), you need desire (those teams had it), and you need a bit of fortune to go your way (those teams didn't have it).

And if you actually watched the Knicks in the 90's you wouldn't "smh" at the mere fact that they were the most feared defensive team in the NBA. Teams actually feared going up against the physical Knicks with Anthony Mason the DPOY, Oakley, Ewing, Starks, Harper, Doc, Spree, etc. (those are the players the Knicks had in the 90's pretty damn impressive defenders. Knicks played physical as hell. The first team to argue about disruling handchecking was the NY Knicks. In 1994 Knicks ranked 1st in defense, 95' again 1st in defense, 96' 4th in defense, 97' 5th in defense, 98' 1st in defense held opponents to less than 90 PPG, 99' held team to 3rd fewest FG's. So really go and watch a Knicks 90's game before you demean such great defensive teams.

The Knicks had a championship level team in 2000 had the team to make it to the NBA Finals we lost in the ECF in 6 games to Indiana because the Great One Patrick Ewing came back from injury during the playoffs and threw off the great momentum we were playing with in those playoffs.
