Along with most points in an NBA game (Carmelo+Chauncey will go for 30 each, while JR goes for 65 and Harrington drops 50. Then Ty Lawson drops the remaining 8 points and 183 points for Denver! ) and will shoot more 3s in one game than most teams do the whole year.

So Harrington is going to start for the Nuggets next season. I don't exactly like the move too much. It makes the team better, but it hurts them defensively and on the boards, two areas they were already a little weak in. Harrington is only good as a scorer, and even then, he can take too many bad shots in a lot of games. They needed an actual big center that could rebound, play man defense, and block shots, not another scorer. They already had enough of those.

Hahahaha no thank you I don't swing that way, but good pickup Al can really put some buckets up he doesn't make you better defensively though but he can grab a good amount of boards. Food for thought though is that just because he can play PF on small ball teams like being well hung doesn't necessarily mean you should be in porn Harrington should not play SF and in Denver that may be a mistake. That's why NY had him as a 6th Man and played Lee or Jeffries, later on Barron as C. Harrington came in for Chandler and Gallo a lot and very rarely played PF for Mike D. I think he should come off the bench but I would try playing him and JR as little as possible together. And he's 30 btw...Have fun with him he can really explode nearly had 3 40 point games on our bench and 2 of his 40 came along with a double-double with rebounds. Hope you still like him when he's the SF and Melo is ours hahahahhahaa

You guys are gonna drop a lot of 3 point bombs but dunno if Karl would let you shoot an NBA record for most 3 pointers taken in a 1st half @ 29 like the NY Knicks did against the Chicago Bulls this past season. NY was on fire and began the game hitting their first 6 3 point attempts and took to a early and comfortable large lead until CHI clamped down their perimeter d and NY kept shooting 3's and missing finishing 10/29 in that 1st half losing the lead as the lead shifted in CHI's favor and they were up big. NY kept shooting 3's and in true Knicks fashion cut the lead more than half and almost made a comeback as they found their touch again but lost in the end like always when it seems NY would be blown out they come back roaring and end up and either pull off a miracle and win or still lose. We ended up shooting 47 3's for the entire game and connected on 16 of them (.340%).

3 pointers:

Harrington - 4/13 bad night (kind of rare he was 1 of our most consistent offensive guys just doesn't score much in late game situations)

Gallinari - 6/15 (.400%)
Duhon - 5/10 (.500% 1 of his few good shooting performances)

I was actually fine with this deal, until Ryan said that Al is promised a starting position...
That just made this deal aweful

promised a starting spot? yeah.. maybe cuz the nuggets are expecting Martin and anderson [both PF's] to miss the start of the season so they have no choice but to start Harrington...

if he plays well while Martin and anderson are out, he'll keep the spot. if not, he'll go to the bench.

and they didn't promise him. it said they offered him a starting PF spot. Meaning they said something like "If you play in Dallas, you'll have no chance at starting at PF cuz of dirk. But if you come here, you'll start the season at PF due to Martin/Anderson's injuries and it'll be your job to keep that spot."

so back to what I said.. if he plays well and the nuggets are winning, keep him there. if they're struggling, put martin back as starter when he's healthy
