I bet think he is thinking in his mind, "Cha-ching! Spurs won't be winning a championship for a while!"

other thoughts?

and btw, how dumb do you think Rafer Alston feels for ditching the Heat like that this past season?

I bet he's pissed, because he loves parity in the NBA. When they negotiate the next CBA, he'll get rid of the MLE since that will be Miami's best friend in getting quality FAs. Very Happy

I'm in the middle. It could backfire on the NBA. That's two franchise that are gonna lose a ton of money.

When the Lakers got Payton and Malone it was a big deal with them teaming up in LA with Shaq and Kobe. It was a traveling circus.

But these are all in their prime players.

Me personally I would've loved to see just Wade and Bosh so that there would be a chance to see a potentially cool Wade vs LeBron playoff series for years to come.

The thing that happens now is that it makes two more teams in the east become cannon fodder.

I think to the casual fan it could make them follow a "SUPER" team and get interested in the NBA... who wouldn't? I'm interested in how this will work out for the Heat. I want to see what happens next too!

Rafer doesn't exist to me... dude has as much ego as LeBron but 99% less talent.

LOL. I sorta' feel bad for Beasley tho... kinda'... sorta'...

His dad wrote on his twitter account "Miami will regret the day they traded my son. Count on it!" Or something to that extent. Rolling Eyes
