Kevin Durant COULD sign for less than max.

KD deserves every bit of a max contract, but we all know KD. He's as humble as they come. He could take a little haircut so the Thunder have some extra money to resign his "brothers" like Jeff Green. I'm not saying a bit cut, but like instead of a 5/85 he could settle for 5/80. That 5 million could mean alot when resigning Harden or Green. I also think when the other guys see KD doing this they might join in. I'm not saying he SHOULD. He deserves every bit of it, but if he takes a paycut, that would be freaking awesome.

He deserves it of course, but if he doesn't want to take it so he can help his team, kudos to him. He's trying to keep his playoff team together and is willing to give up some money to do so

Doesnt matter who you put with Durant.
To me hes like Kobe, Wade, Bron, CP3, Nash, even Dwight (yeah yeah i know, biased, idc). He can make his team better, so really put him with a below average team, he turns it into an average team. Put him with an average team he turns it into a few all-stars. Put him with a few all-stars and he gives you a title (OBVIOUSLY, he hasnt proved this yet, but look at what hes doing with the Thunder roster)
