| Seriously, was anyone extremely bored to the point where your ass wasn't even on the couch any more? Aside from that one stretch in the 4th quarter with all those threes, I was one of those people who were extremely bored. I mean, the Lakers and Celtics DESERVED to play in the Finals, there's no doubting that, but I mean come on now. These teams have met 12 times, twice in my lifetime, and it's just getting a bit cliche. Neither of these teams are offensive minded, making the series all the more boring and throw in the fact that Kobe was 6-24 in Game 7 and the hero of the game was Ron fucking Artest and you've got one of the strangest Finals in history. I'm TIRED of the Lakers raising the O'Brien Trophy. I'm TIRED of seeing the long journey the Celtics have taken to get to this point. I'm TIRED of seeing defensive minded teams in the Finals year in and year out. And lastly, I'm TIRED of ESPN hiring the shittiest commentators in the game and making these playoffs extremely dull. My dream matchup next year: Phoenix vs. Atlanta or Orlando, with Marv Albert and Doug Collins commentating. Come on. For the sake of god, bring some excitement to the league. Someone save us. | |

| I wouldn't mind that, actually. But I would want Orlando to win. I dunno, I just want an offensive minded team to win for once. | |

| Amare sticks with the Suns. Bosh and Johnson go to the Knicks together. Would you enjoy a Suns-Knicks Finals, with that D'Antoni storyline underlying everything? | |

| That would be great. Hell, just not the Celtics. I can stand the Lakers winning because I'm a Warriors-first person but also a Cali-first person.
But yeah, Suns-Knicks would be great. I WANT the other team scoring back and forth, not foul after foul, brick after brick, turnover after turnover, whatever. I just want a good ol' fashioned Run-N-Gun team winning.

| You're from LA. Of course you don't care.
Tell that to anyone not from LA or Boston, you'll get a completely different answer.

Tell that to anyone not from LA or Boston, you'll get a completely different answer. I lived in Boston during the "REAL" big three of Bird, McHale and Parish run. I know Boston more than you think. I lived there for 5 years Khai. This team has won one ring after a huge trade. That's it.

| That makes you even more subject to "not caring" when the Lakers or Celtics win... | |

| Correction: not caring if someone else wants another team besides the Lakers or Celtics in the Finals. | |

| Game was fun except for the continued officiating inconsistencies. They really did call touch fouls on one end and then miss muggings on the other. It went both ways, and I'm glad that the the play of the teams finally over matched the way the referees were dominating the entire series. I probably would have enjoyed the series a lot more if not for the refs. The problem here was not that the two teams were grinding it out. It was that the league doesn't know how to officiate a physical game when it goes both ways. | |

Quite the opposite. I went to Boston Celtics games and respected the Celtics from the get go. I picked them over Cleveland when everyone else didn't. I have the upmost respect for Boston. And I always will. Run-and-gun teams never win.

| ...which is exactly what I'm saying.
I want Run-N-Gun teams in the Finals, and you want the Lakers or Celtics because you've lived in both cities, have respect for them, whatever.

| The Lakers and Celtics will be out of it eventually. Most of the Lakers' star players (Kobe, Gasol, Artest, Odom) are 30+
The Celtics' star players (KG, Pierce, Allen) are all ancient. Rondo won't be able to carry a whole team without the Big 3, so unless they start getting younger and talented players, they might not even be a threat in a few years
