LeBron James to guard Rajan Rondo,Better or Worse Solution for Cleveland?

I think this will be good move because i don't think LeBron will have problems in guarding Rondo,the heart of the Celtics and Anthony Parker(6'6) who is a defensive specialist is capable of guarding well Pierce,or Moon from the bench.Cavs can live with Pierce scoring 20+ pts but they have dozen of solutions for defense in Varajeo,Hickson and Shaq

Your thoughts?

But Lebron has done a pretty nice job with guarding Pierce in this series; so I am not sure if it is a good idea for him to stop guarding Pierce in favour of guarding Rondo. Mo Williams, I feel, should be guarding Rondo. If Lebron isn't guarding Pierce, then who will?

I think Anthony Parker and Jamario Moon will attempt to guard succesfully Pierce.But IMO Rondo's assists and points are the heart of the Boston offense,so i think it;s good way to shut down the Celtics.LeBron is quick enough to stay on the perimeter and is good chase down/face to face shot blocker.Plus they have Shaq,Hickson,Varajeo for inside defense plus Parker is defensive specilist and Jamison is good defender.

ehh. I'd prefer if AP just covered Rondo like he's been doing. Just let Rondo tear us up and hold off the other guys. Rondo's gonna get to the basket either way.

Look for Pierce to have a great game, if West or Mo or Anthony guard him...

If Mo guards Pierce or Rondo the Cavs are gonna lose lol

Then put Mo on Ray Allen?

I'm not sure if Mo will be able to fight through all those screens.

He did get 18 rebs lol

The Cavaliers are gonna switch it up on Rondo so there will be a variety of defenders on him

Good move my Mike cause I dont think any player from our team can keep up with Rondo FOR THE WHOLE GAME....

the mix up on defense has finally got the rest of the Celtics offense going. as bad as rondo was eating them up, the rest of the team looked kinda dead. bad move by the cavs, as soon as lebron came out on rondo, they went on a huge run because of other problems defensively. should have left it how it was.

Pierce had a double-double,21 points and 11 rebounds,from this point the solution is worse..
