UVA Mens Lacrosse Player charged of murdering a UVA women's lacrosse player

Well at Mr. Jefferson's University, this is the time when the students, especially the "fourth years", or UVA students' moniker for seniors, are getting ready to graduate, only two weeks away.

Last weekend, Yeardley Love, a fourth year was found beaten to death in her bedroom. Love also played for the nationally ranked women's lax team. Her ex-boyfriend, or boyfriend (depending on he said/she said), George Huguely was arrested in connection with it. He also was a fourth year and was on the lacrosse team. Apparently he admitted to it too.

What a shame. Two lost lives. Why would someone do this, two weeks before graduation!? They both had their whole lives ahead of them... Funnier thing is that Huguely defended the Duke lax team, as several of his high school teammates went to play for the Devils.

The Cavaliers lax teams, both women and men have qualilfied for the NCAA tournament and will still play. The men in particular have a legit shot to win the whole thing and they have won multiple ships this decade.

Very sad indeed.
