The Thunder easily have the better team and future right now.

I wanna say Portland but honestly, that franchise seems cursed whereas...the Thunder has made significant progress as a new franchise...so I guess I will say Thunder

Portland Trade: A Miller, T Outlaw, G Oden, Draft Pick
Minnesota Trade: R Sessions, Kevin Love

Guys like Russell and Green aren't even scratching the surface and Durant is a top 5 player right now. James Harden seems to be a solid two guard. Center is their only legit weakspot, but Kristic has played solid for them and Serge looks like a good young player.

If Portland wasn't hit so hard by the injury bug I think they'd be a higher ranked team this year.

But as far as long term. I like the Thunder more. I just look at the key players and Durant is better than Brandon Roy IMO and so is OKC's potential. Miller isn't going to be there that much longer, but he's steady and Rudy Fernandez has talked about going back overseas. Oden is injury prone. Joel P is a good backup. Camby will probably be gone after this year. LaMarcus is practically the same player he was as a rookie. Juwan Howard is older than the dirt under Jesus' sandles... Travis Outlaw who always hits big shots (almost always versus the Lakers) is a Clipper...

As for wins I think they'll be quite close and as for rings I think The Thunder have a better possibility to win a ring until Portland can stay healthy for a season.
