I dont really see the Cats and Thunder as sleepers.
Everyboy is alwasy talking about them and how much of a sleeper they could be.
Once you get into most conversations... your not a sleeper....

they'll be putting people to sleep cuz they would get blown out by the magic/cavs every game..

Well he was a beast when he was healthy..... when you can get that much depth for that much of a bargain.. HIckson was still unproven and if he didnt pan out we woulda had Varejao, Hickson and Darnell Jackson at PF(before Jamison came).. so i figure he was just htere for security

I thought Hickson was gonna be ok... and he's still only average... but he was good enough for the cavs NOT to sign powe. esp. if they were planning on playing hickson more... which they are

But still. He was a terrible rebounder and bad defender his rookie year.. maybe the Cavs wanted Powe to help groom him? I dunno.

I mean.. you guys are gonna clear Shaqs 20 million dollar contract... you'll still have Mo/jamison and other guys... if LeBron signs for lets say 17 million a year.. you'll still have 16 million to spend on 1 great player or 2 good players

I remember something in teh paper saying the Cavs are only gonna sign their own playerse this offseason.. we're so over the cap that even clearing shaq's contract we dont have much money to spend :/

They wont re-sign Powe, shaq or telfair.

the MIGHT sign Z if he doesnt retire.. and if they do, it wont be for much.

LeBron is making 15.7 million this year... if he wants the cavs to bring in a bosh or amare.. he would probably sign for like 17-18 million.

Well. Telfair might get resigned. We traded for him for PG depth. But with LeBron's contract.. and Tawn.. and Mo.. and DWest plus no MLE and stuff... I doubt we'll sign anybody besides our own FAs
