| 1. Dirk edges Billups and Durant for a well-deserved Finals MVP. 2. Lakers. Absolutely loaded on offense; on defense, Billups and Artest would shut down the opposing backcourt while Haywood (and Dirk!) contest anyone venturing into the paint. Plus, I like Riley more. 3. Lakers in 6. | |

| Even though this is fantasy and chemistry isnt supposed to matter,It does in my mind. I just cant see Durant,Dirk and Joe ANd chauncey ANd devin (not to mention haywood who like to put em up too) Playing on one team and not killing each other. | |

| I pick myself. Dwayne has nobody to shut down the Dirk-Billups insidem out game. As Deron can't guard Billups out in the perimeter, as Billups has avg'd 27 pts in 2 games against Deron. And Dirk has torched Odom,Gasol for 27 and 11 in 4 games this season. And it doesn't stop there as Durant has dropped 30 6 and 3 on Wallace and 22 6 in the last 2 games. And then you have Ron[who's defense would limit Jamal], Joe Johnson who the Pistons have no answer for. Just too many offensive weapons. I also got length, size and perimeter defense. And let's face it, it's not like Noah and Marc are any threats, While everybody on the Lakers is a threat.
Lakers in 5. And Dirk is MVP. | |

| Lakers. Like someone above mentioned, Billups has torched Deron in two games, and can probably do a pretty good job on defending him, as Chauncey is one of the best perimeter defending point guards in the league. Billups > Deron. 1-0 Lakers Ron Artest is a great defender, but I don't think will be able to stop Crawford. Once he's on, he's on. No amount of defense will help you. Crawford gets the edge here. 1-1 Durant, no question about it. 2-1 Lakers Odom is good, but plays off the bench. No way a bench player is going to stop one of the most offensively talented big men in the league in Dirk Nowitzki. 3-1 Lakers. Brendan Haywood has been quietly putting up solid numbers this year, but Gasol has been doing it loudly, so Gasol gets this one. 3-2 Lakers. Joe Johnson >>>>>>>> Luis Scola, no questions asked. Just not fair to compare these two... 4-2 Lakers Devin Harris is shooting below 40 percent this year, and although he's averaging 17/7, he's not doing it efficiently. Noah is putting up 14/11 I think. 4-3 Lakers I used the bench player vs. starter before, I'll do it again. Millsap just can't compare to Mo, since Boozer is going back to his great game of late. 4-4. So to me, the player matchups are even. However, Ron Artest is a great defender, so those nights where Crawford will start off cold, he will stay cold. So that takes away a couple of games since Crawford will shoot the Pistons right out of it. Also, Durant is just too much. Wallace is a nice defender, but you can't stop Durant (unless you're the Nuggets and held him to 19 ). You also can not stop Dirk from shooting all over you and Joe Johnson can even bring up great offense. There is also good defense on the Lakers in Billups, Artest, and Haywood. Chauncey is one of the top leaders in the league, and when you pair such talent in Kevin Durant and Dirk with him, you probably won't stop them. Durant will cause double teams. Dirk will cause double teams. Billups and Artest are great three point shooters, so you will get burned somewhere. 4-2 Lakers. | |

| everyone has forgotten that you can't score if you don't have the basketball. dwayne has elite rebounders galore with noah, wallace, odom, gasol, and even scola. it's not as if the players defending durant and dirk are terrible either, and one thing about dirk, is that he doesn't really take advantage of poor match ups. he seems to play the same way against all types of players. abdi has a ton of offense on his team, but like I said, he's gonna get owned on the boards. his team is basically like a warriors team with better defense. teams get chance after chance against us on offense and we never get an offensive board ourselves. so you tell me, if dwayne gets 10 more shots over the course of the game, abdi's team has to be a LOT better offensively in any game that they win. with a distributing point guard like deron williams and a bunch of players that can knock down a mid range jumper (only marc gasol can't), a few that can knock down a three, and great size and length (especailly length) in the front court, he can bother abdi's top scorers and stay with him offensively. so i pick Dewan. 6 games.
MVP-Deron Williams | |

| My team is not like the Warriors LMAO, Warriors are scrubs and D-leaguers, It's not even close. Warriors shouldn't ever be compared to a team like this Lakers, that's just an insult to basketball.
