| http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yletzrnThe New Wizards
Zydrunas Ilgauskas - $11,541,074 in LeBron money (2010 expiration) Jamario Moon - $3,000,000 in Dirky Mellow money (2011 expiration) 1st Round Draft Pick The New Cavaliers
Antawn Jamison - $11,641,095 in Antawn money (2012 expiration) Mike James - $6,466,600 in LeBron money WHY THE DEAL IS CHANGING from just Cleveland dumping a contract to Cleveland giving a pick)
Looks like Cleveland is desperate to get a finesse PF who can shoot the three which they don't have to tell you the truth. They also want to ensure a 2010 NBA Championship who can shoot against Lamar, Dirk, and in their own conference Rashard and Hedo. Andy's one or two wide open threes don't count. And Amare doesn't seem to be the answer to the Cavs though he and Shaq both say they can play together. The Wizards shed Antawn's salary, but now don't have any salaries that go past the Dirky Mellow period, which may be when the almost inevitable NBA lockout beings. Second, the Wizards need draft picks, and assuming Mo Williams isn't the franchise player next year, well, Cleveland doesn't need rookies for the next couple years barring injury or LeBron James bring guns into the locker room. The most ideal player I'd want from them would be Anderson but he is such an important piece for them. Will Z get waived by the Wizards? Well, my guess is yes, but you never know, if he plays here, he will be a good mentor for McGee and Blatche who need one now that Tawn's gone, and it looks like Drew Gooden is gonna get waived last couple reports I see.. So the Finals not this year, but next will almost definitely be like this at least for the guy getting posted up:

Antawn is a better defender than most give him credit for. He is good at pick up steals in the post and he is a good weak side defender as well. Those don't get you marks for being a good big man on D, but it's better than JaVale's D which is block shots 3 seconds after the shot went off.

| They basically get him for moon straight up because they will resign Z to a smaller contract and waive Mike James, if i was a cavs fan I'd like that deal O.O | |

| What is likely to happen is this
Z is waived by DC James, Mike James is waived by Cleveland
Moon stays in DC to play along Josh Howard and Mike Miller. He also stays for next year and is a decent enough player to be a core player, not a franchise or a big three type, but at least a core player.

| I'd take Jamison over Stoudamire in a heartbeat.
He's the "Stretch four" the Cavs need with great post skill to boot.

| I like it
If we can get Jamison without trading hickson that would be great. Feel sorry for Moon but we have too many perimeter players anyway.
Jamisonis definately a better fit than Amare anyways.

| I say hire the stick, pay it 6 million and throw Mike James into the forest where the stick used to live. Maybe the stick could hit a 3 once in a while | |
