Kevin Martin for Ray Allen?

Lots of teams are apparently calling Boston Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge this week to check on the availability of shooting guard Ray Allen(notes), whose $19.7 million expires this summer, according to the Boston Globe.
Ainge is apparently not going to other teams to shop Allen and told the player that last week. But he can't stop others from asking and making offers. Ainge would only do it for a younger player who is a proven scorer.
Sacramento Kings shooting guard Kevin Martin(notes) has three years left on his contract and may be available because of the stellar play of rookie Tyreke Evans(notes).
However, the Kings might force whoever takes Martin to also take on Andres Nocioni(notes) and the two years left on his contract. If this last part is true, it could kill it for the Celtics, who don't have any desire to add more big contracts.

They won't do anything good.

1.K-Mart is inconsistent
2.Ray is old
3.K-Mart doesn't pass the ball enough
4.Some doesn't want the greatest three point shooter ever in the Celtics
5.Why
6.Ray Allen is still better
7.K-Mart will never be close to him
8.Allen is clutch,more clutch then Martin
9.Celtics would need to learn him(Martin) to play defense
10.I don't like this idea at all

I dont really know why... but I think Boston is one of the few places KMart woudl work.
But he'd have to be able to handle being the third or maybe even fourth option.

But let's get this thing back to the start

1.K-Mart shots 3's
2.He doesn't have all around game
3.He doesn't play defense

So he seems perfect for Suns/Warriors teams now but there's a diffrence maker here that trade that could pay off.If he's willing to improve at defense and improve his shot selection he could be very fit,after all Celtics are good defensive team with top coaches who would improve his defense :/

They're playing better than the Wizards and they're young. The Hawks did the same with Josh Smith and Joe Johnson and gradually built to where they are now. The Kings played real hot early this year and cooled since, but they at least have promise. They were a joke for years that everyone wanted to stay away from and now they're the Caps of the NBA.

The trade is currently Martin and Nocioni for Allen Scal and Giddens, but the Celtics dont want to take on Nocionis contract. If it was Kenny Thomas we would of course do the deal.
