If the New Jersey Nets hadn't made horrible decisions to trade VC and Richard Jefferson away would they still be a solid team

Jason Kidd wanted to be traded and they got a solid deal for him so would they still have a solid roster

not too bad there getting Devin Harris in return.

Vince Carter had just resigned with the Nets,and Richard Jefferson said he wanted to stay a Net for his career.

that Jefferson for Yi and Simmons trade was astrocious, and that VC trade didn't do much for them either

the Nets starting 5 would have been

PG Devin Harris
SG Vince Carter
SF Richard Jefferson
PF Ryan Anderson
C Brook Lopez

had they decided to not make the trades this would still be a solid roster

Well firstly, It wasnt a horrble decision. Nets want a new start all vince and rich are declining with age.

They wanted to shed salary and rebuild. Not really that bad.

They prob would have won about 38 games and made the playoffs.

But it wasn't so terible decision.VC and Richard Jeferson will retired soon and the needed younger players then them.The Nets have the worse record in the league even they haven't got the worst squad.I don't know what's the problem with them.

Getting Yi and Bobby Simmons from Milwaukee wasnt much though.

from their record now doesnt like look many 2010 FAs would want to play in NJ

Jefferson isn't all that old,and that made no sense.

I can see the Carter trade though

It was a good move for the Nets.They have to just build on the team
