Thursday's Knicks game against Charlotte to me is the most important game of the season for NY as of right now. It is against a team that suffocates NY defensively and the Knicks offense has been slow to respond as of the last couple of outings against them. Furthermore, NY plays them close and letdowns seem to occur. More importantly this is the last meeting of the season between both teams and the Bobcats are one of the few teams that NY is battling against for a chance at 1 of the last few playoff spots.
Charlotte won the 1st game of the season against NY. NY came back from 24 down in the 4th quarter to force 2OT's and in the final OT NY fell short.
In the 2nd game Gerald Wallace played great and NY gave up a nice lead in the final couple of minutes in regulation and lost.
In the 3rd game against CHA, NY finally won. It was w/o Gerald Wallace and Stephen Jackson did not play in the 2nd half because he took an arm to the face. Raymond Felton almost gave me a scare and single-handidly almost carried the short-handed Bobcats to victory against NY, but NY managed to hang on in the end. This was good for me as a Knicks fan that we won against CHA and as a fantasy owner that Raymond Felton had a great game
...
Anyways, NY has a chance to end the season series against CHA in a draw and I for one am happy that NY doesn't have to play CHA again this season after tomorrow. They're scrappiness scares me. I just can't wait for tomorrow's game.
