I think I've become a Laker fan...

It must have been Kobe's sexy shot making against the Warriors last night. It was just so amazing that I think I might have been converted. That along with Gasol's crazy efficiency and Sasha's Artest-like defense, has definitely made me a fan of the Los Angeles Lakers. It was just so exciting watching Farmar and Brown hit shots from the outside against Golden State in their victory. I don't know how anyone can root for another team, when the Lakers are just that amazing. Beating the Warriors in Los Angeles is like the feat of the century, especially when the Dubs were up by as much as 15. It was a close game, but the Lakers pulled it out, as always. That's why I'm their fan now.

The Lakers to me aren't an enjoyable team to watch because they are always picked to win every thing and when they lose people rub it in their faces. I much rather refer the underdog teams. Like the Rockets!!! They arent' picked to do crap this year and they are proving people wrong. Razz

I never liked the Lakers for any reason besides being willing to accept Kwame for $10 million a year. I will prefer them to win over some east teams, and yes, Kobe is damn good at 31 and is aging like fine wine, not like warm souring milk.

By defense, do you mean intentionally hitting the opposing player in the nutsack? That is what he did to Anthony Morrow last night. It worked pretty F'n great because they called Morrow for the T when he complained. Great D Sasha.

Yeah, I saw that Turiaf swat, it was pretty sweet. I don't think Kobe was expecting that. It's great having Turiaf back in the linueup, they finally have some big bodies down low.
