My jaw dropped when it happened last year in New York and everyone was chanting "MVP... MVP... MVP..." for Kobe.

It actually saddened me a little. Whatever... NY has lost most of it's REAL fans.

This only happens where the Home team is sub .500 or below. Most teams that are playing well have 90% of their fan base support from their fans.

yea teams like Boston, Orlando, Cavs have stacked fans, the Laker fans get drown out by them.

Yeah... I get that. But seriuosly... NY? I was ashamed man. That's a basketball mecca. I lived there for 3 years during the Knicks best runs with Ewing, Starks and Oakley... You'd get jumped in the parking lot back then. Even if you just had a Lakers button on.

Yeaaah i know, Knick fans use to hassle road team fans. Now theirs a newer generation and the Kids are all Lebron and Kobe. Also the Knicks hadn't made the Playoffs in awhile, some fans want something to cheer about.
