| http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap;_ylt=AgY9NnjuKng5GE2QbkdDbZW8vLYF?gid=2009121227Just back from DC after this game. First, kudos to Indiana's Tyler Hansbrough. He has developed a pretty great midrange game and has an above the rim game for the NBA, that had me saying this: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/4618Second, Mike Dunleavy still has it and stepped up after Mr. Granger's injury. Troy Murphy also had a monster day. For the Wizards, Gilby had a triple double and Earl Boykins did a great job closing the game, or so we thought. The last few seconds of the game were crazy, when one - Gil missed two free throws, and then Ford brings it upcourt and then his shot is blocked as the clock runs out. Replays review play and put .5 seconds on the clock. That I can deal with. The next play was when DeShawn Stevenson and Haywood challenged Dunleavy and apparently Haywood fouled him again as time expired. Replay was once again used and apparently the foul happened at 0.1 seconds, allowing Indy to win This call is a controversial one, and I won't be surprised that the Wizards appeal this one. Sure, the call is controversial, and usually no call is made unless a foul is pretty blatant, I didn't see it here. But really what lost the game for the Wiz is a horrible 2nd quarter when we let Indy go beserk and lead by 16 or so while we were once again experiencing a Redskins like offensive groove. Add that with Gilby missing free throws is what caused the fate of this game. Still, I hope the Wizards have some guts to try to appeal the NBA for the last few seconds and see if they can replay those last seconds in the next meeting with the Pacers, but of course it's an uphill battle, both to get a replay of those last seconds AND get them into playoff contention. We'd lose to the Nets right now if we played them tonight. Hell, I pick Kansas to beat us. In the Wizards locker room, here is the score: Don't get my joke? Here's why, coincidentally, because of the Pacers: http://voices.washingtonpost.com/wizardsinsider/2009/11/pacers-102-wizards-86.html

| Absolute garbage. There is NO WAY you can jump, catch the ball, land, and go up for a shot (and in this case get fouled) in half a second. Wizards should have won
I will not hold Visa responsible for letting a Mexican feed it to him up the ass right now, because that was trash | |
