He could sit out as well Lakers can win at a high level w/o Kobe Bryant. Hell they can still be a playoff team with Kobe and Gasol out and Artest as the focal point and Odom and Bynum right there with him and of course Fisher's leadership. Especially, with Shannon "Chris" Brown dunking at will off the bench. Somebody better take his temperature that kid is sick {Shannon Brown} !!!

What dream are you dreaming?? The Lakers were suffering without Gasol two years ago and to be a playoff team without both Bryant and Pau. That's pushing it. The Lakers team doesn't know how to play without Kobe so they won't win not one game if he was out.

He shot a terrible 7 of 24. we'll see if the trend continues, but so far this season, so goes Kobe Bryant, so go the Lakers. This is not a good time for this injury, as they just finished w/ the easiest part of their schedule, and now are going to be on the road more, playing better teams.

Ron Artest, they never had Ron Artest... This year they can. Pau is the most important player on the team and they can win without Kobe at a high level. Without Kobe and Gasol they can make a push for 7th/8th cause of Artest, Odom, Bynum, Fisher, and Brown. Artest is legit... The Lakers can win w/o Kobe. Pau Gasol made the Grizzlies a 5th seed that won 50+ games w. a good supporting cast, but worse off than the supporting cast the Lakers have now
