You already said it, they're tough to compare. They don't do very many of the same things on either end of the floor (besides put up points, even that in very different ways), and play completely different positions. Melo has the potential to be better than Iverson, but he isn't now. I hope Melo will reach his potential and be better than Iverson at the end of his career. I certainly hope Melo will end his career with more Championship rings than Iverson.
