| I always feel bad for players that happen to the bright spot of an underachieving team (e.g. Bosh for the Raptors).
Lee is pretty good; it sucks though that his supporting cast doesn't play as consistently as he does. He may not make all-star game this season but if the Knicks get better or goes to a playoff contending team, he could most definitely obtain greater recogition in the league.

| Last year I was livid when the Knicks were neck and neck in playoff contention with other teams and Rashard Lewis made it over Lee. Even though Lee had more of an impact and more impressive stats just because Lewis was on a championship contending team. Watch the same thing happen with Shaq this year in Cleveland he'll probably get more votes than Lee as well because he's Shaq and he plays in Cleveland. Even though obviously this isn't Shaq of old. I don't want Lee to leave this franchise though I witnessed him getting drafted humbily and him having to come off the bench in sporadic minutes and put up double-doubles. Now he starts and has improved in every facet of the game. He has a jump shot now and is a good ft shooter (2 things he didn't seem to have when first drafted.) All I want is for solidified All-stars to come to NY to make Lee look good and put more into the public eye and put him into an All-star game. | |

| I understand that completely.
I think if the Knicks had a solid PG to compliment Lee, they could do slightly better as a team. Or a solid 2nd big man next to Lee. That could be awesome.

| I agree, hopefully by agreeing with you the Deron Williams to NY cries come out and results in the reality that oh sh!t D.Will plays on the Knicks!!! Pipe dreams can happen :p...
Anyways, Lee & Duhon have great chemistry and use the pick n roll very well. However, Duhon has started this year pretty damn bad offensively, so the pick n roll cohesiveness btwn. the 2 looks somewhat hindered. I think it's because Duhon is a pretty damn good reserve PG and is unfairly being made a starter it takes a toll on him trying to make him something that he isn't.

| Ah, I see. Then perhaps the Knicks need a PG that is capable of playing starter minutes and who is much more consistent. Duhon could be a spark off the bench for them then. Haha, Deron would be awesome but he seems quite content in Utah so that may not be a possibility. | |

| Killing my dreams before they start ehh !!! I was so bummed when Steve Nash resigned with Phoenix for 3 years. Being reunited with Mike D in the city that he lives in seemed to be an alluring aspect as too why Nash could have been eyeing the Knicks. Especially, when it looked like he was under a falling out period with Phoenix management. All it took was getting Shaq out of there and returning to the old style of play and looks like the Suns are back and Nash is content with his 3 year extension. Sigh!!!!It would have been incredible to see a PG of Nash's caliber playing in a system that was built for him to lead. | |

| LOL! Sorry! Hey, there are quite a few good PGs in the NBA so no worries Tony, haha. Uhh, I was kinda surprised initially when he signed that contract extension with the Suns but so far, things are working in his favour. I would not be completely surprised if he retired with that franchise...the thing is, would he be able to win a ring with that team though later on in his career? | |

| That guy is like a fine wine age doesn't phase him!!! I think the Suns are a few more defenders away from reconfirming they are back in the championship talks. Richardson, Dudley, & Amundson are good defenders.
To tell you the truth I thought that they should have gone and done that GS deal giving up Amar'e Stoudamire and acquiring Biedrins & Curry. Curry would be a good PG in the making when Nash is gone cause Barbosa is more of a SG and who knows with Dragic. Also Biedrins gives them an inside defensive presence that is starting caliber. Him and Frye can equate Amar'e and his offense and Biedrins d and rebounding would go above and beyond what Amar'e does. Plus, I've come to see that Amar'e is somewhat of a distraction in PHX.
Being that Raja Bell is a FA this season and may not want to be on all-offense team that seems entrenched with players and coach that don't want to be there. I think it's also plausible for Bell to return to PHX by next seasons time. That would give PHX another defender and if they pick up one more that can help out J.Rich, Dudley, & Amundson even more on that end. We all know that Phoenix is full of scoring that's why I think that PHX w/o Amar'e wouldn't be all that bad it wouldn't effect them the way that it would if Nash left.

| Good point.
If the Suns were more balanced with regards to offense/defense; then I could consider them as a potential candidate for the championship - especially with Nash leading the way.

| Yeah that's why I think that they should trade Amar'e who's future with the team being that he's one of the 2010 FA's is uncertain. Might as well get something from him now before it's too late and he leaves for nothing. I think that he is lazy on the boards and should get more than what he does and defensively he's not lazy he's just plain bad on defense there's no way to sugar coat it. He has a good jumper and he is a 20+ PPG player, but a lot of his offense comes from Nash's leadership. I always thought Nash makes him out to be better than what Amar'e acually is offensively.
If they get a good player, like a Biedrins type as a C then Frye & him could still be offensively rounded on a team of very good scoring options and would make them better defensively depending on who that player that replaces Amar'e is. That can only be an added bonus.

| Indeedy. Talented PGs such as Nash can make some players look good. That is exactly how I felt about Shawn Marion for a while. Like I said previously, i thought he was pretty crazy to request a trade from Phoenix when Nash was there to make him look better than he actually is. | |

| Yep Chalmers could not do that and Jose is a good PG, but he couldn't really make Marion better than what he actually was because Calderon seems more like an offense 1st PG rather than a combination of both or pass 1st PG. Not that it's wrong cause that's his style and he's still good, but it doesn't really benefit Marion much. In Dallas before his injury a pass 1st PG like Kidd was doing what Nash did for Marion in Phoenix. Marion was feeding off of lobs.
One thing is for sure though Marion has always been a good athleteand defender and he could hit that awkward shot of his, but most of his offense comes off of his athleticism which is better utilized with PG's such as Nash that has the vision to give a player like Marion all the looks/opportunities he can get.

| I especially agree with the last paragraph in your post; I am not saying that Marion is a crappy player but he should be thankful for having Nash on his side at one point in his career. When he was with the Raptors, he was not really much of a difference maker for the team and I was pissed at the time with Colangelo considering re-signing (glad it did not happen) him for an extension. That guy is a lousy GM but anyway.
Wow. So many tangents in this thread, haha!

| Damn it SRF I keep winning in Fantasy. However, I'm disappointed in that it could be more lol.
For instance, I get double-doubles on a nightly basis so it seems w./
David Lee Tim Duncan Dirk Nowitzki Jermaine O'Neal
& when Channing Frye decides to rebound he gives me double-doubles as well. Maggette gives me double-doubles from time to time and he's been rather consistent thus far. Especially, scoring after Jackson was traded he is carrying more of a load. I hope Ellis is traded, so that Maggette can be the 1st option on a nightly basis.
No one has taken me in rebounds!!!
I also get 500-600+ pts on a weekly basis.
I have:
Richard Hamilton Kevin Martin Allen Iverson
(Injured/out of work thus far)
These guys are all franchise players for their careers. Although, Martin is young and looks only to be a scorer. However, I can't help but think that if they all come back and I stay away from the injury bug I can put up 700-800 points a week lol. That is bumming me out that it's not happening now even though I'm winning lol.
Even in assists I am doing well
Lee Duncan Nowitzki
are all unselfish big men that get their fair share of assists.
Sessions Duhon Ford Felton
Are all very good in the assists department.
I'm hoping RIP & AI can boost that up even more with their return.
Even with Chris Duhon and Wilson Chandler mudding up my FG%. I have a pretty damn good FG% also

| Damn, that is pretty awesome. Haha wow, I haven't logged into my fantasy basketball team in weeks...damn, I must be failing right now LOL! Looks like you are really prospering from your picks; Tim Duncan in particular. You bum...I am still mad at you for what you did. Oh my goodness...how is Sessions doing this season. He was awesome last year...I wonder how things are going for him in Minny right now. | |

| He isn't starting they're starting Flynnover him and it started off with Sessions starting off slow trying to get the hang of this reserve thing even though he's better than the starter thing all over again. However, he's adjusted recently and he's getting more minutes than Flynn particularly down the stretch Rambis likes him more. A couple of games ago he put up like 23 points and 11 assists. | |

| That Denver game was effed up and you know it Raza. I love Billups and was a huge Melo fan in his Cuse days. I kind of fell of him in the NBA until these last 2 years when I started to like him again. However, eff that Hughes was fouled and should have shot 3 at a chance to tie the game. I'm not going to say more cause it goes down as a loss, but still that was effed up is all. Al Harrington = 2 40 point games along with a double-double in rebounds for the 2nd time combined with the 2 40 point games for this season . Big game for Melo/Billups and for a brief moment J.R. THAT WAS STILL A FOUL THOUGH HE JUST HACKED HUGHES RIGHT ON THE ARMS WHEN HE WAS IN A SHOOTING MOTION AND BEHIND THE ARC!!!! | |
