Byron Scott should go back to Jersey!!!

He got fired in NO and Frank, his successor just got fired in NJ. Scott has seen rebuilding in NJ before and when Kidd came there Scott helped build ateam that contended for a championship for years. Scott was fired in NJ because him and J.Kidd had a falling out and it got ugly enough that he was ran out of town, but Kidd isn't there anymore and once again they need a new coach and are in rebuilding mode. Scott was there once before with the Nets and they are under good position salary cap wise for the 2010 free agentcy. They need to get a player that Kidd was for NJ that could actually carry a team to relevancy because Devin Harris to me can't do that. To me he is a stat hog and as much as I dislike Jason Kidd even in his age right now he is more of a ball player than Harris is and Harris would never be a 1st option the way Kidd was for NJ in my book.

No coach wants to go back to a team that got rid of him, Theres a thing called pride,its something every man has.

But by time nelson came back to GS it was pretty much a different organization, Nelson was fired in 94, didn't get his job back until 05, thats 10 years later. Scot was fired 4 seasons ago

True... I feel you, but NJ is gonna get bought over by some crazy Russian that has the same wet dream that this present Nets ownership has in thinking that NJ will move to Brooklyn. It's not happening they've been saying this for like a decade and the arena isn't even under construction because of all the protests.

Seeing as I don't want Scott coaching anywhere, no, he should not go back to New Jersey. They should get someone new to coaching that can build rapport with players, not Scott, who in my opinion does the opposite.

I say they should bring back proven coaches if not Scott.

Nothing wrong w/ guys like that either, but I just feel that if they bring in a guy who connect with the young players and the new management, it will be a better fit for the team. Especially if you want to make a play in the 2010 Free Agent market, it would be great to have a players' coach, who can appeal to guys thinking about going to the Nets.

the team in NO made byron scott look good not the other way around. Of course he's gonna win COY when he has CP at PG, Peja is on fire and chandler is averaging a double double... that team kinda fell apart thanks to scott imo.

There not, They were 3-6 when he was fired and there 6-9 since. it might be a slight improvement but thats because its further into the season so naturally the chemistry is better.

Kiki Wandewiegh is going to be a way better coach than Lawrence Frank. Even not having coached a game he's already better

unlike many here who say Frank was treated unfairly I get to watch many Nets games. He's a really poor coach and a late game choke artist. Scott was much better although not too great either.

Frank was successful and longest tenured only because of Jason Kidd,and Vince Carter in NJ. With Jason Kidd being long gone L.Frank should've been long gone.

He's just a really poor coach. Bringing Scott back isn't a good idea to me either.

The Nets should've beat the Heat that game in which Dwyane Wade hit the game winning buzzer beater.

Frank is a true moron and decided not to double team Dwyane Wade and let him get enough space to take the final shot. Any sane coach would know not to let D-Wade get the shot off an beat you. Playing single coverage on him was plain moronic.

That alone he deserved to be fired for.

Frank's poor coaching also cost them one of the games against the 76ers that they should've won.
