| Both teams get rid of junk they don't want.
T-Mac gets a new start and would be the main star and no pressure to make the playoffs and if they somehow did, (just pretend...) no one will care if they make a deep run... which is Tracy's specialty.

| Yup.
I think it's just a one and done deal. He'd be free to sign elsewhere and if he performed they could keep him and pare him with (theoretically) another big free agent like LeBron, Wade or Bosh.

| I think it would be a good trade; that way, the Rockets can completely move on without T-Mac hindering their progress as a team. | |

| The Knicks suck, it can't possibly hurt them any more besides possibly losing to the Nets! How about we trade Butler, Stevenson, and Mike James to Houston for T-Mac? We can use another catch and shoot player on the team. We suck too right now and any move can help us. Butler can't play in Flip's offense, and T-Mac has the ability to catch and shoot at will and be another Mike Miller. He has played more like that in recent years than we give him credit for. Then again, he is a locker room killer..... | |

| As a Knicks' fan I think that trade is dumb, why would we send Wilson Chandler, which is the future of NY Knicks?
If we send Larry Hughes and Eddy Curry, then I agree get T-Mac! |

| Eddy's contract doesn't expire this year, right? If it doesn't, then this is a good trade to clear even more space for NYC. Not that LeBron is coming, but they're likely to pick up somebody decent. | |
