John Salmons sucks..

I'm sorry, I just have to get this off of my chest. For anyone that has ever watched this guy play..he is the biggest chucker in the NBA. Most of the time he isn't anywhere near open, and he throws up a shot, and it clanks. He CAN score I guess, but hell, I would drop 15 a game if I threw up 40 shots a night as well....he makes me mad for some reason...idk.

He has a higher FG% than Joe Johnson.....

Ben Gordon sucks his scoring is the product of being surrounded by good passing PG's, like Kirk Hinrich and now Derrick Rose. RIP Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince are unselfish and give him the ball too early into the season. However, Gordon is a chucker and not a reliable 1st offensive option or a player to carry your team for a whole season. If RIP doesn't come back soon Detroit can bleed tremendously. Gordon's FG% is awful and he chucks them up regularly with reckless abandon. Not to mention he is one of the biggest one dimensional pieces of crap out there in the NBA. He does nothing else can't defend, has troubles creating his own shot, can't pass, etc. He's a 1 trick pony. John Salmons nearly equaled Ben Gordon's point production a season ago with less FG opportunities too and Salmons was by far a more consistent player. Ben Gordon is vastly inconsistent. I'm not sure who is more overhyped Ben Gordon or Nate Robinson. Both of them really suck!!!

I don't mind John salmons.. but he isn't a starter imo.

but I HATED ben gordon.. Idc if he was our best scorer... he was the blackhole of chicago.. he would dribble the ball in one spot for 15 seconds and throw up some dumbass shot and hopes that it goes in. Not to mention the fact this his defense blows.

Sorry I'm calling BS... Hinrich and Rose's passing is not setting the world afire. He still has to shoot over guys 6-7 inches on any given night.

We have Larry Hughes he is a streaky offensive player too. 1 night he can go off for 40+ points and the next he can blow and put up 4 + a goose egg = 4. The thing I love about him is that he is a very good defender, gets steals, and he can play the point and pass.

When he is on he is a great offensive player cause he has the ability to score. He is on a tear right now.

Hughes = 19 PPG, 5.5 RPG, 4 APG, .625 FG%, .333 3PT%, .100 FT%, 2.5 SPG

2..... Al Harrington
3..... Danilo Gallinari -or- Wilson Chandler (Still kinda hard to decide)
4..... Chris Duhon
5..... Larry Hughes
6..... Nate Robinson

I hate Nate Robinson he is a lowly basketball player. If he comes back from injury I would want him packaged along with Cheeseburger Eddy to GSW for Stephen Jackson. If not Larry Hughes deserves more minutes than Nate!!!

I think Hughes and salmons are kinda similar in a way.

both can play SG and SF, they both do the same things offensively, but hughes is a bit better on D.

I just hate that salmons is streaky.. I wish that he would get 15-17 points regularly.. not 6 one night, 19 another night then back down to like 7..

John Salmons is a streaky shooter though. And in the league, everyone can score, it's defense that wins games. So, pretty much maybe the defense was getting to Salmons.
