Who was the last player on your team to make the All-star team?

The last player on the Knicks to make the All-star game was both Allan Houston and Latrell Sprewell. In the same season, 2001.

Al Harrington has an off-shoot chance if Rashard Lewis, KG, Bosh, Jamison, etc. get injured...

TD and Bosh (more recently) always make the all-star game each season.


Oh yeah, I remember Allan Houston - I always liked him as a player. He was pretty solid. And who can forget Latrell Sprewell, the genius who rejected a pretty good offer from the Wolves a few seasons back and refused the offer because he had a "family to feed". I guess he was planning on buying his family lobster dinners everyday or something...

Yep that was Sprewell, the very same. I think he is one if not the biggest lost cause in the NBA. He had "it" could do it all on the court, but he let it go. I mean this guy was voted an All-star and All-NBA Defense in his Sophomore year in the NBA.

Spreewell was a hothead. but he was very good!

Damn, just looked up some info on Latrell.. he was a beast.

so was Houston.

I liked his tomahawk dunks and that glare he got in his eyes when he was pissed.

They took the Knicks to the NBA Finals in 99' without Patrick Ewing (injured)
Then in 2000 they took the Knicks to the ECF lost in 7 to Indiana Patrick's last season in NY.
2001 took Knicks to the playoffs lost to Toronto 1st Round, last season w. a winning record.

I liked spreewells swagg and the way he used his body to get angles and he ran the fast break well.

Yeah one of my favorite teams!!!

some people forget that kurt thomas used to be a beast!

Kurt Thomas was a beast he had always had a very good jumpshot, could defend like a workhorse, and grabbed boards. He also had a lot of swag he was physical and he expected you to know he was physical and would threow bows with whomever then give you the what did I do glare. In his mind Kurt Thomas never committed a foul in his NBA career the same thing goes with Chris Childs he was like a blood-hungry chihuahua. Ward was more composed and quiet and could run a team and Childs was the sparkplug off the bench. Both of them were 3 point demons and could both defend. Back to Kurt Thomas though I always liked him and what he brought to the Knicks.
