Joe Johnson says he won't sign extension with Hawks and will become a Free Agent in 2010

I don't see him playing with the Hawks past 2010 personally.

Joe Johnson will pull a smart move if he gets in a good team

Darko, the Hawks are a good team. They have a pretty good time table window to do some special championship runs, at least 5 years assuming no lockout in 2011. Only potential question mark is Bibby.

The free agent stuff is mostly talk, they may not ask for max contracts either because after all, the NBA is losing money, as I said before. After all, those contracts are also contributing to a major cause for the pending lockout in 2011-2012.

Joe Johnson needs to stick it out. Hes got a solid team around him, just needs the young big men to mature.

I think he will re-sign with the Hawks because they will be willing to pay him.

The reason he went from the Suns to the Hawks in the 1st place is because he would play a more starring role in Atlanta rather than being the 3rd option for the Suns and was given a higher pay check by the Hawks

I think the Hawks will give him a large contract to stay
