On a serious note, that totally stinks for the Cavaliers...hopefully, this doesn't affect them too much (although he is one of their better players). Eeeeeee.... Sad

Naw...betcha colangelo would draft some random European that averages 5 points and leaves the NBA after the first season. Remember Rafael Araujo?

Unfortunately, I actually don't remember who that player is. :/ lol!

Honestly, that man (Colangelo, that is) has a HUGE fixation for European players. I just don't get it...

Scott always has good 2nd years with teams though. This would ruin the trend.

Trends cant be ruined or people die.

Who did the nets get in Scott's second year there? Jason Kidd.

The Horents weren't really that good until Scotts 3rd year there... but that was 2 years after they drafted Chris Paul.

I'm not saying Mo williams won't be as good as J Kidd or CP... actually yes.. that's what I'm saying.

hahahaha.

When Scott was a coach in NJ, they first had marbury, they were bad the first year but then got PG Kidd and went to the finals twice

When he was with NOH, they first had Baron Davis(i think), played bad, drafted PG CP3 and eventually became a playoff team

So all Cleveland needs to do is scrap Mo and and get an elite PG and problem solved Very Happy
Doesn't that sound so easy?

Hey,but Jones from Kentucky might be the answer for Cleveland's problems

1.He's versatile enough to play 2-4 positions

2.He's excellent at driving to the rim and has a 3 point shot too

3.Is unselfish player and outstanding playmaker as well.

4.Has similar size to LeBron 6'8 and 244 pounds (not sure about)

Thanks dude.

That's a pointless trade for the cavs though. He won't save their season and probably won't resign with them after his contract expires..

Unless the cavs trade for him, then package him with a Mo williams or a Hickson and try getting a superstar.

Yeah...but I can't even see them getting a superstar. There aren't really any available except Melo, and there's no way in hell he'd resign with the Cavs after this season.

I would find it deeply hilarious on every conceivable level if Miami traded LeBron back to Cleveland for Williams/Wallace/Hickson, though. Very Happy

That would be hilarious if it happened lol

I think that if the cavs do get him they will probably just package him with other players for either a great player, or more likely draft pick.

The Cavs got Mo Williams, Ramon Sessions, Antwan Jamison, JJ Hickson and Christian Eyenga all having contracts which expire in two years.
So right now thats about 28 Million dollar in expiring contracts for 2012 (offseason)
If they add Wallace, that's another 10 Million which will make them have 38 Million dollars in expiring players!

Now with that being said any rebuilding team loves cap space so the cavs can let all/most of them go and try to get the best player available. Or since Free Agency sux in Cleveland they can trade the big contracts for future draft picks to teams who will desperately go after superstars that year.

While from Charlottes perspective of the deal, MJ is just getting impatient
